Stella Coyle Healey
Stella Coyle Healey was born and raised on the East Side of Saint Paul and graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2025 with BFA in Sculpture and Art History. She is heavily influenced by surrealist and psychedelic thought as well as her midwestern surroundings. Through repetitive processes like collage, wood working and sewing, physical and theoretical layers are formed and stripped away within her work. These processes operate as acts of care and love- always referential and always contextual. She utilizes this way of making to explore topics like gender performance, mental illness, desirability and life under American Capitalism.
