Stella Coyle Healey

Born and raised on the East Side of Saint Paul MN, Stella Coyle Healey graduated with a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2025. With a major in Fine Arts Studio; Sculpture and a minor in Art History, she is heavily influenced by surrealist thought and psychedelic glam sensibilities. Through repetitive processes like collage, wood working and sewing, physical and theoretical layers are formed and stripped away within her work. These processes operate as acts of care and love- always referential and always contextual. She utilizes this way of making to explore topics like gender performance, mental illness, desirability and the home.
